Athletes Foot

Anyone who has spent any time in a gym or health club or at the swimming pool will have the fun of getting an Athletes Foot infection at least once. Usually a lot more than once.

Getting this annoying fungus infection is mostly just a pain, but not too serious. A really severe case can be a potential heal risk so don’t just let it go.

There are so many OTC items and even prescription items that have some benefits, but like most meds there are potential side effects to be aware of and watch for.

Thankfully there is a more natural option available that works, has no potential side effects, and offers a real athletes foot cure to everyone.

Athlete’s Foot Description
This is a fungal infection of the skin, the scalp or the nails. Caused by the dermatophyte fungi – Trichophyton Epidermatophyton. Its presence in animals is often a source of infection for man.

The infection can be spread by direct contact or via infected materials, resulting in lesions that are often ring-like and may cause intense itching. Touching the toes of an infected person will do it as will walking barefoot on contaminated surfaces in locker rooms, showers, and even swimming pools.

Athlete’s Foot Symptoms

Red areas with itching, burning, and pealing off of white flaky areas of the skin.

Most often this is between the toes of the feet, but it can show up in other areas. Anywhere that the skin area can remain warm, moist, and dark.

The skin of the toes will peel and crack, often painfully with deep cracks forming and weeping. The affected areas will not heal well on their own and the infection will spread if not addressed.

Athlete’s Foot Treatment Options

Fortunately most cases of Athlete’s Foot can be treated at home with over the counter Athlete’s Foot Remedies such as a lotion, powder, spray or gel. Although in very severe cases stronger medication may be called for and need medical supervision.

As with any meds, consider the potential side effects for yourself. Unfortunately, many strains today are becoming harder and harder to treat as the fungus becomes more resistant to the OTC products.

Even a mild case of Athlete’s foot is not something to play around with. It can lead to more sever infections which could even be life threatening as in the case of bacterial blood poisoning.

Fortunately there is a more natural option now available for athletes foot treatment.

What Actually Works

Using a double pronged approach has proven to be the most effective.

Taking the all natural Alligin capsules to attack the fungus from the inside of the body and combining it with the AlliGel as a topical application spread all around the infected skin areas, has demonstrated the best results.

This combination offers a more long lasting removal of the infection than OTC items and with a maintaince dose of the Alligin, the likelihood of a re-infection is greatly reduced

Simply apply a generous amount of AlliGel between the toes and gently rub into the skin.

This should be done twice daily for 2 to 4 weeks.

Within a few hours the itchiness will subside and if it returns, another application should be made.

For faster results always take at least 2 capsules Alligin  per day as well. Once the cracking has begun to heal, patients should continue with capsules to act as a preventative against recurrent infections. As an alternative, some people prefer to break open capsules and simply rub the powder over the affected area.
